Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • The position is in the factory and could involve standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to reach, lift, bend and stoop without restrictions. Good manual dexterity needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all material-handling job functions required in the aerosol area and ability to work any line within that department.
  • Knowledge of products and procedures in the aerosol department.
  • Supply all necessary materials for lines to maximize efficient and effective production.
  • Supply and load production lines with materials and in-process goods for packaging operation.
  • Verify material conformance and report any issues to LC or Supervisor immediately.
  • Move materials and products as assigned; complete necessary system transactions to complete the conversion process of WIP's to finished goods
  • Fill bins with bottles and caps to insure uninterrupted production.
  • Load skid with various in-process and finished goods, mark with appropriate tickets move offline and stage, load as necessary.
  • Organize corrugated boxes and set up carton packaging, hand form boxes as necessary.
  • Assist in line changeovers and some batch changes; make minor adjustments as directed.
  • Check goods prior to release to shipping department for correctness.
  • Keep work area neat, clean orderly; clean up spills and equipment.
  • Tend filling and packaging to assist production technicians.
  • Supply and load production lines with materials and in-process goods for all and packaging operation.
  • Tend filling and packaging to assist Production Technicians.
  • Fill in for Line Expeditors as required.
  • Understand complete safety protocol and operate under safety guidelines.
