About The Position

KBR is hiring a Aeronautical Systems Engineer for our work supporting the TRMC that will be part of the JMETC Requirements group (front office staff) working across the JMETC enterprise in support of large force exercise, distributed test execution and data collection, integration of Service Operational Test and Training Infrastructure and capabilities (OTTI-C) with TRMC capabilities. As part of the font office staff, the selected candidate will need to possess a unique experience, providing oversite of executing engineering efforts of the services for platform data integration and data analysis to meet the requirements of the RDT&E services as well as assist in the collection of service mission relevant use cases, requirements, and user stories. Candidate will be responsible for Identifying and reviewing resources that can execute relevant work and leading integration efforts to meet the requirements of the relevant customer base needs. Position requires Communicating back to leadership activity status and coordinating priority of delivery and projects as well as providing input to process improvement, based on leadership identified priorities. The activities will have this candidate working primarily at Schriever USSFB and greater Colorado Springs area in both government and contractor facilities depending on requirements owner. TS/SCI and various level of SAP data support will also be required to support the mission efforts. However, travel to support system and event requirements collection and event execution may be possible.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Mathematics
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Minimum of 20 years’ experience to include the following:
  • Experience Identifying and communicating best practices throughout the company
  • 5th Generation aircraft flight test instrumentation (FTI)
  • Experience working with OUSW (R&E) and TRMC
  • Knowledge of TRMC Big Data process and analysis to include CHEETAS
  • Military or Space Acquisition Program knowledge
  • Experience with Project Management
  • Communication and Presentation skill
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following:
  • Open Air Battle Shaping (OABS) Testing and Training Strategic Relations
  • Joint Testing and Training
  • Test Event Operation, Planning and Analysis
  • Test and Training Infrastructure
  • DoD Programs and Acquisition process
  • Enterprise Software Development
  • F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) Directorate of Test & Evaluation and Air Combat Command (ACC)

Responsibilities
