Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2026 Aeronautical Engineer (Landing Gear) - Intern. In this role, you will research, define, analyze, develop, design, provide technical supplier management, test, and qualify landing and arresting gear systems. You will perform requirements definition in coordination with system engineering and develop, review, and maintain engineering drawings and models. The successful candidate will support integration and flight test, production, and sustainment activities and ensure program objectives are accomplished through troubleshooting and system subject matter expertise to assist in maintenance and delivery of effective technical data. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, or related technical major
  • Experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, or other CAD applications
  • Must be a US Citizen.
