About The Position

Duties and Responsibilities: Set poles and place anchors for overhead telecommunication lines Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair overhead power lines and associated equipment Climb poles and towers and use bucket trucks to access power line Test electrical equipment and components for proper operations Read and interpret technical plans, blueprints and diagrams Follow all company and departmental procedures and regulations including all safety requirements Safety training as required by position Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months verifiable experience
• Valid drivers license
• Valid DOT Health Card
• Possess strong knowledge of electrical safety, safety regulations and industry standards
• Ability to communicate and listen effectively with customers, employees, etc.
• Basic knowledge of and ability to operate hand tools, equipment and vehicles in a safe manner

• Class A Driver’s License (CDL)
