Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and supportive environment by enforcing studio policies, spotting students, and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Create structured lesson plans that include warm-ups, skill-building drills, and cool-downs.
• Assess each student's skill level and provide individualized instruction and feedback.
• Assist with set-up and take-down of aerial equipment, checking for safety before each class.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere that aligns with Elysian Aerial Arts' values.
• Participate in studio events and performances, as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an aerial instructor.
• Familiarity with aerial apparatuses and techniques, with strong emphasis on safety and technique.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students of all ages and skill levels.
• Comfortable teaching students from diverse backgrounds, including children and adults.
• A positive, professional demeanor with a passion for aerial arts.

Nice-to-haves

• Additional certifications in aerial disciplines or fitness instruction.
• Experience in dance, gymnastics, or other movement arts.
