About The Position

Serve as a Geospatial Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the JC3-Functional Defeat (FD) Branch, responsible for the development of virtual and physics-based 3D models to support mission planning and minimizing collateral damage effects. You will be responsible for reviewing multiple intelligence sources to recreate surface and sub-surface structures in a virtual environment, which will be used as a part of larger 3D representations, or to calculate and predict blast effects. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional results, and we’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced SME to join our team. This position supports our Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services. This position is in Fort Bragg, NC.

Requirements

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Defense Acquisitions University certified
  • 5 years experience in airdrop System Technician aerial delivery systems
  • Familiarity with military contracting and DoD acquisition process
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules and resources
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Recreating real-world structures in a high-fidelity virtual environment to support mission planning and collateral effects assessments.
  • Utilizing imagery analysis skills to determine the construction and design of surface and sub-surface structures.
  • Utilizing GIS skills to transform vector and raster data into desired formats, combining them into larger datasets, and presenting them in a 3D environment.
  • Collaborating with cross-function teams to develop plans and products.
  • Providing technical guidance and expertise to junior team members and stakeholders.
