We are seeking a talented Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) and Qualified Aegis Weapons System (AWS) Tactical Action Officer (TAO) Technical Trainer to support training our Foreign Military Sales (FMS) international students as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Joint Interface and Data Network Operations. The candidate must have Carrier Strike Group (CSG), joint, and allied operational experience to include: Multi-Tactical Data Link Architecture (MTA) and Multi-Tactical Data Link Network (MTN) operational design and employment (tactical and exercise). This individual will support a multi-instructor and developer workforce providing curriculum and instruction for the Aegis International Programs Training stakeholders. This position requires approximately 20% annual international travel. U.S Citizenship is required. The qualified candidate must have a final DoD Secret security Clearance prior to starting this position.

Requirements

• Qualified U.S. Navy Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO).
• Proficient in synthesizing and training complex Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C4I) interoperability concepts related to the Aegis Combat System (ACS).
• Demonstrated operational expertise in the employment of the Aegis Weapons System (AWS), Joint and allied operations, Carrier Strike Group (CSG) operations, Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), U.S. Navy Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), and Air Defense.
• Proven ability to construct and present complex technical interoperability concepts to U.S. Navy Executive and Senior-level officials.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as a team contributor.
• U.S Citizenship is required and the qualified candidate must have a final DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.

Nice To Haves

• Qualified Aegis Tactical Action Officer (TAO) or Aegis Air Defense Officer (ADO).
• Relevant U.S. Navy Aegis Baseline 9.2 experience.
• U.S. Navy Instructor Training Course (NITC) graduate.

Responsibilities

• Support training for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) international students as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Joint Interface and Data Network Operations.
• Provide curriculum and instruction for the Aegis International Programs Training stakeholders.
• Engage in operational design and employment of Multi-Tactical Data Link Architecture (MTA) and Multi-Tactical Data Link Network (MTN).
• Conduct operational design and employment of Common Operational Picture (COP) and Common Tactical Picture (CTP).
• Perform systems configuration, operations, and interoperability troubleshooting of Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems and Global Command and Control Systems-Maritime (GCCS-M).
