AECOM is currently seeking experienced Field Engineers / Inspectors to support Amtrak's ADA Stations Program. The Amtrak ADA Stations Program (ADASP) is responsible for bringing Amtrak stations into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The ADASP implements design and construction of infrastructure improvements to provide accessibility to Amtrak's inter-city rail transportation system. This position will be part of a Joint Venture (AECOM & Jacobs) that is providing staff and services to Amtrak. Construction projects will be at locations throughout the continental U.S.A. The Field Engineer's work is performed primarily at project locations (on-site approximately 80% of working time) with some work performed remotely, such as report writing and other project documentation (off-site approximately 20% of working time). Repeated trips of one-week or two-week duration to project locations is typically required.
