About The Position

The Merchandising Team Leader (Assistant Manager) plays a crucial role in developing and implementing the merchandising strategy for the store. This position focuses on training and coaching the team to meet AEO brand visual standards, ensuring the store is guest-ready, and driving sales through effective leadership and operational excellence.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty.
  • Analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions.
  • Develop short and long-term business plans to drive key KPIs in collaboration with the Store Team Leader.
  • Coach the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience and ensure adherence to AEO Brand Standards.
  • Lead day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment efforts.
  • Motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values and hold them accountable for customer service standards.
  • Recruit and hire strong talent to meet business needs and train the team for outstanding service.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching and prioritize team development plans and performance reviews.
  • Execute and innovate daily operational procedures while maintaining visual standards throughout the store.
  • Ensure compliance with store safety standards and AEO's policies and procedures.
