About The Position

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License

• Organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in a social science or equivalent experience in military or community service settings.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual ability for communicating with non-English proficient family members
• Military experience in the specific DoD command
• Minimum of 5 years experience in helping others in military or civilian community service settings.

Responsibilities

• Identify and access benefit information from various sources including Command specific information, Veterans Administration benefits, and Wounded Warrior Program assistance.
• Evaluate how to best support the RSM and family through the entire spectrum of care management, rehabilitation, and transition services.
• Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills and strategic problem-solving skills in support of RSM and family needs.
• Communicate effectively in both written and oral forms to enhance the experience of the RSM and family.
• Utilize knowledge of military systems and protocols to assist recovering service members and their families.
