About The Position

HealthEZ is seeking an Advocacy Specialist to join our Care Management team at HealthEZ! This individual must be extremely organized and be an advocate for our members and clients.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree/ Medical Assistant Certificate preferred
  • Ability to summarize patient histories and treatment plans by reviewing medical records
  • Follows and understand HIPPA regulations
  • 3+ years of customer service or direct client experience
  • Medical Terminology knowledge
  • Previous experience in care management processes preferably in a health plan
  • Strong Organizational, written and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Provides concierge service to members
  • Work directly with our clients and provide stellar customer service
  • Assist vendors and members with Medical Management requests/questions
  • Open authorized case management files
  • Open and monitor Advocacy Cases as appropriate
  • Partner with Care Coordinator Manager to implement processes to ensure goals are met
  • Assist case managers with various duties
  • Monitor Intake phone line
  • All other duties as assigned by Care Coordinator Manager or Clinical Director
