Position Summary HB is seeking an entry-level Advisory Associate to provide administrative and technical support for the Advisory team.

  • 0-2 years of relevant industry experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (required)
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Ability to obtain series 65 within the first year of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated desire toward a Professional designation (ex. CFA, CFP) is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supports senior team members by assisting in the creation of financial plans and helping prepare materials needed for client meetings and follow ups.
  • Using Microsoft Office 365 Suite, create, edit, and produce documents that are accurate, presentable, and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Learn and utilize client reporting software (Black Diamond), planning software (eMoney), SharePoint, and other research and planning tools.
  • Develops familiarity with financial planning and developing financial plans for clients.
  • Analyzes client information and prepares reports and presentations.
  • Enters information into financial planning software and prepares draft plans, with help from a Senior Advisory Associate, Associate Wealth Advisor or Wealth Advisor.
  • Assist with tax coordination.
  • Limited attendance at client meetings; takes extensive notes.
  • Maintains information in the CRM system, including client personal data, meeting notes, follow ups, etc.
  • Generates and reviews reports in the portfolio management system for accuracy in preparation of client meetings.
