JOB SUMMARY Training may be on site or virtual, position is location adaptable and may allow working from home after completing new hire period. Must live in the Miami, FL area! As an Advisor, Telephone Sales II Intl at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will be responsible for making meaningful moments for customers and potential owners. As Telephone Sales Advisor II, Intl, you will make outbound calls to international members primarily, as well as other markets as needed. Renew and extend membership for existing members, upgrade memberships to premium status, reinstate members whose memberships have lapsed and present membership to non-existing members. Drive sales of ancillary travel products and services. Make outbound calls to members to solicit deposits and extensions, while educating members on how to make best use of membership and exchange benefits. You will resolve customer objections and upsell as appropriate. Pilot new products and services. The role also emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service throughout these processes. This position requires computer proficiency and the ability to swiftly navigate multiple systems/applications to access and accurately input data into proper fields, typically, while using multiple computer monitors. You will add to the success of the MVW team by maintaining high standards and providing the best service. You will need to have a flexible schedule, communicate clearly with coworkers and guests, and follow the company's rules in all situations. Requirements

Physical Ability— Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
Work Schedules— Maintain availability to work a fluctuating schedule, based on business needs, which may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Proficiency in English (additional language required for certain positions).
Two years of sales experience required.
Minimum of one year of experience in Exchange, Customer Relations, or equivalent Company call center experience.

Responsibilities

Contact existing and lapsed members to solicit deposits, deposit extensions and other marketing campaigns as assigned.
Renew, extend and upgrade memberships.
Pilots new products and services as applicable.
Builds value and educate members on how to effectively utilize their membership and applicable services.
Answers questions on all Interval International products and exchanges.
Overcome customer objections while maintaining a polite and enthusiastic demeanor.
Performs all necessary duties to process membership renewals, upgrades, and reinstatement of delinquent membership duties such as sending out letters, etc.
Answers questions on all Interval International products and exchanges, across international and domestic markets.
Meets assigned revenue and product goals based upon assigned campaigns and incentive program standards.
Maintains a minimum of 90% performance on call monitoring’s.
Contact the appropriate individual or department (e.g., Customer Service, Exchange, etc.) as necessary to resolve escalated calls, requests, or problems.
Successfully navigate all functions of dialer functions.
Communicate via telephone using appropriate etiquette including answering the phone within 3 rings, answering with a smile in one's voice, using the caller's name, transferring calls to the appropriate person/department, requesting permission before placing the caller on hold, taking, and relaying messages, and allowing the caller to end the call.
Speak to guests and coworkers using clear, appropriate, and professional language.
Talk with and listen to other employees to effectively exchange information.
Provides assistance to coworkers, ensuring they understand their tasks.
Ability to handle multiple systems simultaneously, along with proficiency in reading, writing and comprehension.
