About The Position

Chevron is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team. The Events Advisor plays a key role in the planning and execution of corporate events that enhance brand visibility, strengthen client relationships, and support business development. This role requires strategic thinking and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across departments and external partners. This role will design and implement event strategies aligned with corporate goals, including client engagement, internal communications, and brand promotion. This position is also responsible for overseeing the negotiation of sponsorship contracts and ensures strategic value is derived from Chevron's participation in the events. This person provides counsel and on-site support to executive leadership and contributes to post-event evaluation of effectiveness and recommendations for future.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, event coordination and marketing.
  • Proven ability coordinating and executing larger trade-type events.
  • Experience in building relationships, aligning resources and collaborating across teams to deliver excellent business results.
  • Experience collaborating across many levels of an organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical/strategic thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into creative onsite activations and experiences.
  • Familiarity with new technologies to deliver high quality, immersive experiences.
  • Strong writing, organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines, navigate ambiguity and concurrently manage multiple project timelines with exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of high-impact sponsorships and events aligned with enterprise priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define event objectives, target audiences, and success metrics.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, sponsors, and community organizations.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution.
  • Oversee vendor contracts, procurement processes, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all events and sponsorship activations.
  • Partner with communications teams to develop messaging and promotional materials.
  • Track and analyze event performance against KPIs.
  • Prepare post-event reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all events comply with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and bring innovative ideas to elevate event experiences.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and process improvements.
