About The Position

Schwab Advisor Services is seeking a dynamic financial services sales professional to join their team. This role focuses on recruiting and RIA custody sales, targeting large and complex advisors, independent broker dealer representatives, and trust/bank professionals. The successful candidate will leverage Schwab's platform and products to support advisor clients in growing their businesses. The position offers flexibility with options for hybrid or fully remote work, provided the candidate resides within the Texas territory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid and active FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
• Minimum of 5 years of proactive sales experience in the financial services and RIA industry.
• At least 5 years of experience recruiting advisors in RIA sales/financial services industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex business-to-business sales situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and comprehensive industry knowledge.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cold calling and developing new relationships.
• Substantial knowledge of competitor's products, services, and sales tactics.

Responsibilities

• Engage with a wide range of firms including traditional wirehouse teams, independent advisors, family offices, and broker/dealers.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow sales in the assigned region.
• Partner with internal consultants to position Schwab's platform and products effectively.
• Champion the fiduciary advice model and Schwab's leadership in the RIA industry.
• Build and maintain a network of industry contacts to facilitate sales opportunities.
