About The Position

This position supports the Global Sales Organization by assisting in the development of strategic plans and business processes using data science and business intelligence technologies. The role focuses on implementing effective sales strategies to meet company objectives by transforming complex data into actionable insights and supporting performance modeling and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of directly related experience, preferably in the same industry and competitive marketing environment.
  • Strong human relations and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong leadership, customer service orientation, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret information.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Ability to sit, walk, or stand for the duration of the shift.

  • Ability to conduct physical tasks with a full range of motion throughout the warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift/carry items up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Employ data science tools and techniques (e.g., SAS, SQL, VB.net, R, Python) to extract and build meaningful insights from multiple data sources.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in defining datasets and collaborate with cross-functional and IT departments.
  • Write and interpret complex queries to support strategic planning, reporting, and problem-solving for GSO.
  • Communicate analytical results using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, and Excel.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales compensation and performance models to evaluate incentive programs against actual sales data.
  • Review and analyze current business processes and reports; streamline reporting and recommend enhancements.
  • Prioritize business problems and lead investigations into multiple data sources to solve complex challenges.
  • Ensure sales-related activities align with established standards and methodologies.
  • Develop and implement additional projects as assigned.
