The Advisor, Risk and Quality supports patient and staff safety, regulatory compliance, and overall risk mitigation under the direction of Quality leadership. This role is responsible for investigating incident reports, patient complaints, and potential malpractice claims, ensuring timely resolution while identifying opportunities for prevention. Working collaboratively across all departments, the Risk Advisor promotes consistent, high-quality, and safe patient care practices. The position focuses on identifying, analyzing, and mitigating organizational risk exposures to protect both patients and the organization. Through data analysis, event reporting, and participation in safety initiatives, the Risk Advisor helps drive operational and process improvements. Additionally, the role provides education and guidance to staff on risk management practices and requires strong communication, analytical skills, and strict confidentiality when handling sensitive clinical information.
