About The Position

The Supervisor, Process Maintenance and Control will oversee the daily functions of Packaging Services and will support facility requirements for 3PL Warehouse Operations. Will ensure that operations are safe, efficient, and of high quality. With responsibility for packaging equipment uptime, compliance and procedures, the Supervisor continually monitors efficiency and quality metrics, assigns work, provides coaching to supervised staff, and addresses a variety of operational issues. The Supervisor directly contributes to Cardinal Health’s customer service reputation by ensuring that production is on time and of high quality, develops staff, and enhances operational excellence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Technical degree is preferred.
  • 5-7 years experience.
  • Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, production, and quality employees along with leadership teams to develop, expand, and share technical skills and knowledge of primary and secondary pharmaceutical packaging areas.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure regulatory requirements and business goals are met.
  • Participate and lead cost savings initiatives surrounding equipment reliability and uptime.
  • Support new product launches and equipment installation (IQ, OQ, and PQ).
  • Apply current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in all areas of responsibility while maintaining regulatory compliance and supports regulatory agency, ISO and client audits.
  • Lead and foster a culture that encourages high performance work and employee engagement.
  • Serve as an inspirational leader, coach, and mentor.
  • Facilitate and execute strategic and tactical plans for the site.
  • Proactively mitigate and correct process deficiencies and non-conformances.
  • Build relationships with other groups throughout the business and enterprise.
