The Advisor, Platform Engineering job leads designing, developing and maintaining digital technology infrastructure to support information technology applications and services. As a recognized subject matter authority in platform engineering, this job leads and advises cross functional teams to define, design and implement new features to meet user needs and business goals and upgrade existing platforms to improve performance and functionality through writing clean, efficient and scalable code and troubleshooting and debugging highly complex issues. This job also leads code reviews to maintain high code quality and advance platform engineering teams' capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Deep understanding of SAP ERP system, proficiency in Oracle JD Edwards is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools like SAP Fiori, Power BI, and SQL.
• Experience in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and SQL.
• Understanding of cloud-based ERP solutions and platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Ability to analyze complex data and business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience building and deploying AI/ML models, preferably in enterprise ERP environments.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design and development of high quality software solutions by developing sustainable technology roadmaps, maintainable system and data integration and efficient codes.
• Advises to improve the application of internal software deployment platform, continuous integration or continuous delivery pipeline and twelve factor development methodology to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.
• Leads cross functional team of product managers, designers and other engineers to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Proposes continuous improvement initiatives for the software development and deployment processes, and leads implementing approved standards to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Leads the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for software applications, deployment processes and system configurations.
• Leads and mentors technical support and troubleshooting for highly complex issues with deployed applications to ensure minimal downtime and fast resolution.
