About The Position

Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost. General Description: The HSSE Advisor, Data Analysis will be responsible for managing HSSE data across the company. The position will ensure that the processes for HSSE data management are robust and verified for all relevant assets and locations, including that coming in from our many contractors. This role will collate incident and related HSSE data, review it and trend it is looking for patterns, causal factors and possible root causes. This role will develop reports for all levels of the organizations management, including our executives, outlining the key themes on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis for the company and individual locations. This role will also work with the relevant HSSE Director to develop campaigns and programs to target and reduce the causes of the incidents we are seeing, based on what the data shows us. This position will be based out of the Houston office, TX.

Requirements

Knowledgeable and proficient with reporting and analysis tools including Power BI, Excel, Intelex, SAP and databases
Broader knowledge and understanding of environmental or safety and health compliance issues, procedures, and regulations
Understanding of technical documentation/analyses and corresponds with regulatory agencies

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains reporting and dashboard connections
Supports information and technology interfaces with HSSE teams
Partners with asset area management teams to develop HSE trending and reporting tools
Provides QA/QC review of HSSE data
Supports field teams with use of HSSE IT systems
Works effectively with other disciplines and departments
Provides assistance to less experienced employees in HSSE matters
Takes an active part in team meetings and decisions
Based on the data, work with the HSSE Director in developing programs and campaigns to address the incidents we are seeing with the goal of reducing severity and ultimately eliminating them.
Demonstrates initiative through interpersonal and leadership skills, bringing team members together to produce results
