About The Position
As a Global Development Policy Advisor, you'll be integral to our work in helping vulnerable children achieve a brighter future. You will advance Save the Children's overall policy and advocacy strategy across specified thematic areas in global development. In this capacity, the Advisor will work closely with the Managing Director, Global Development Policy to lead the development and implementation of legislative and advocacy strategies targeting Congress and the U.S. Administration on global development policy, including advocacy on the federal budget and congressional appropriations. The initial issue focus will be food security and nutrition. You will also contribute to the overall capacity and effectiveness of the Government Relations department and Policy, Advocacy and Campaigns division.
