Employee Relations Advisors (ER Advisors) provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on effectively managing human capital. The Employee Relations Center (ERC) addresses employee relations inquiries, policy interpretation, disciplinary actions, and investigations. ER Advisors ensure consistent disciplinary practices and offer guidance on company policies and applicable laws.

  • Manage incoming requests via email and phone.
  • Resolve employee relations concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Handle multiple cases of varying complexity, documenting them in the ER case management system.
  • Counsel leaders and coworkers to resolve cases consistently and fairly.
  • Identify trends and collaborate with HR COEs on action plans.
  • Facilitate HR-related training for associates and managers.
  • Investigate and document complex complaints, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and collaborate with legal counsel on litigation matters.
  • Meet with executives to review findings and recommend disciplinary actions.
  • 3+ years of direct employee relations experience in HR.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment laws and fair practices.
  • Strong coaching, conflict resolution, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues concurrently while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Experience with leave of absence processes is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
  • SHRM/HRCI certifications preferred; bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus.
