Reporting to the Lead Advisor in the assigned college advising center, this position provides administrative and academic specialist support to academic advisors and undergraduate students through the transition from quarter to semester terms during the calendar unification at Seattle University. Each of the four temporary advising specialists will work as part of a dynamic, student-oriented advising center team, as well as work collectively across University Advising on projects related to the calendar unification and student retention. The temporary advising specialist role requires creativity, attention to detail, and comfort learning and teaching new technology. Please note that this position is a limited term appointment and, while currently scheduled to end on June 30, may conclude earlier if the needs of the university require.
