Not only will you be joining the Advertising Platform Finance team, you will also be part of the Internet Services & Software Finance team who is helping to drive the future growth of Apple. We are looking for an innovative, highly motivated, analytical individual with a high level of interest in the growing Digital Advertising industry. This role requires an individual with excellent business, communication, and technical skills. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy and ever-changing environment. As a leader in the Advertising Platforms Finance team, you will partner across various business functions, including engineering, product, sales, data scientists, and corporate finance. This role will lead the revenue forecasting, sales commission, and analytics for the business. This role has a high level of interaction with senior leadership and is considered a trusted thought leader for the business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years financial analysis or business analysis.
  • 8+ years financial modeling experience.
  • Expert in Excel.
  • Experience using corporate financial systems and proven ability to leverage multiple data sources and maintain an accurate plan of record in a dynamic environment.
  • SAP, Tableau experience.
  • Prior experience or deep understanding of the Digital advertising industry is a plus.
  • Search Advertising experience.
  • Analytical and financial modeling abilities.
  • Ability to take on new problems and desire to drive solutions and results.
  • Detail oriented & thorough, with ability to think 'big picture' and understand the key trends and levers that drive the business.
  • Ability to think creatively, to work independently and effectively in an ambiguous and changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop trusted business partnerships with various teams across the business (product, engineering, sales, corporate finance) to drive opportunities within the business.
  • Lead monthly revenue forecasting process which includes working closely with many different teams to meet revenue objectives, weekly and monthly reporting, month-end close, and business reviews.
  • Drive annual planning process from a revenue perspective.
  • Analyze and present executive quality financial results performance to finance and business leadership teams.
  • Ensure that monthly financial results are stated accurately and in accordance with accounting policy and ensure business proposals and changes to existing processes are covered by appropriate policies.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Sales Operations to devise sales incentive plans that are aligned to business growth drivers.
  • Implement and manage sales commission process, which includes reporting for sales visibility, and calculation of commission achievement.
  • Build, maintain, and drive financial models in support of forecasting, budgeting, and new initiative impact analysis.
  • Comfort in data system and financial reporting systems in order to pull data, analyze data, and report data.
