Join our education team as an Adventure Instructor based out of Sharon Woods. Great Parks is seeking a qualified professional to create and lead outdoor programming for people of all ages. This position will support programming efforts throughout the East region including programming at Sharon Woods, Lake Isabella, Woodland Mound, Otto Armleder and Nature Center at The Summit. A successful Adventure Instructor provides strong communication skills, quick thinking on their feet and engages children and adults alike through safe and exciting adventurer programming. This seasonal position between May and Aug will average 25 hours per week and will require weekend, early morning and evening shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience and comfort in leading adventure programming. Programming will include but is not limited to kayaking, canoeing, archery and hiking.
