Adventure Center Program Student Support-summer assignment

Specific Tasks: Support to classroom staff as needed. See the job description for additional information.
Hours Per Day: 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. - shifts vary
As per Terms and Conditions Employees receive a 40% discount on Adventure Center programming for their own children while working at Adventure Center.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 16 years old
• Successful DCYF background check required
• General knowledge of childcare practices and techniques
• General knowledge of children’s developmental and social growth expectations and needs
• Ability to work with preschool and school age children
• Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Preschool and School age classroom experience preferred
• Experience with children with 504 plans, IEP's and medical conditions preferred
