About The Position

Support to classroom staff as needed. See the job description for additional information. Hours Per Day: 6:00 a.m.-7:45 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., school attendance days. May be combined with other positions, split shifts or shared shifts. As per Terms and Conditions May become benefit eligible if combined with other positions.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 16 years old
• Successful DCYF background check required
• General knowledge of childcare practices and techniques
• General knowledge of children’s developmental and social growth expectations and needs
• Ability to work with preschool and school age children
• Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Preschool and School age classroom experience preferred
