About The Position

Saint Patrick Catholic School is currently seeking an Advancement Associate to nurture and support the Director of Advancement and the administrative staff for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year. Overview Founded in 2005, Saint Patrick Catholic School (Norfolk, Virginia) is an independent Catholic school with an enrollment of approximately 419 students in grades pre-kindergarten through eight. Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be computer savvy and know Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods
  • Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds, climb stairs, bend, crouch, crawl, stoop, and run
  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • College Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Alumni Coordinator on the Annual Fund, Giving Thanks Programs, and Annual Breakfast
  • Manage all donor tracking and send out informational packages
  • Process and maintain records of all gifts and pledge transactions
  • Prepares receipts and acknowledgement letters for gifts received
  • Assists in creating e-newsletters and all printed materials used for development and marketing
  • Aids in the planning and implementation of all fundraising events and Evenings at Saint Patrick
  • Responsible for ordering the Wolfhound Spirit Store merchandise and preparing all orders for pick-up
  • Puts together the welcome packages to the new faculty and staff upon hire for HR
  • Coordinates with parent volunteers for planned Hound Down Days
  • Attends after-school events and assists with the concession stand when needed.
  • Attend regular faculty and department meetings and contribute to teamwork and positive morale
  • Participate in faith formation experiences
  • Perform other duties as directed by the school administration
