About The Position

We are looking for a talented Advanced Warehouse Operator - Level II to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Efficient Handling and Storage: By accurately receiving, sorting, labeling, and storing goods, you will optimize warehouse space and ensure smooth operations. Quality Assurance: Performing quality checks and identifying non-conforming materials will help maintain high standards and minimize cost and quality exposures. Safety Compliance: Adhering to HSE standards and using appropriate personal protective equipment will contribute to a safe working environment. Environmental Responsibility: Recognizing and minimizing the environmental impact of your work will support the company's sustainability goals. Effective Communication: By communicating effectively with your team and support staff, you will foster a collaborative and efficient work environment. Operational Excellence: Demonstrating competency in core work skills and working at the required cycle time will ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in initiatives to improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow will drive ongoing enhancements in operations. Team Support: Maintaining a clean and orderly work area, performing routine housekeeping tasks, and assisting with equipment maintenance will support overall team productivity and safety.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Requires certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet rider, etc.) and/or other heavy machinery.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
  • Must have 1yr or more experience driving fork truck.
