About the position

Axient is seeking a motivated advanced-level Test Analyst to join the Test Resources team at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. This role involves supporting the Missile Defense Agency's operational and developmental testing, contributing to the security of the United States and its Allies. The position requires collaboration with a professional team of engineers, analysts, and technicians to manage the planning, development, analysis, and delivery of missile defense systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and management of the voice communications system supporting Missile Defense Agency (MDA) flight test events.
  • Translate operational needs into program documentation.
  • Gather requirements for functional system configuration/design and validate that documented requirements are met.
  • Develop systems engineering procedures and processes, including requirements management and configuration management.
  • Conduct system reviews and recommend alternative plans, ensuring system performance meets specifications.
  • Prepare technical documentation and briefings defining system/subsystem characteristics.
  • Conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation, and corrective action.
  • Perform validation of software systems and develop evaluation criteria and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training for acquisition, development, integration, and operational oversight.
  • Support program and project risk management activities.
  • Prepare and track budgetary/financial documents such as RFAs and POM requests.

Requirements

  • MA/MS in a related field or BA/BS with five years of additional relevant experience.
  • 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Active Secret to TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience in leading and executing analytical tasks for complex developmental and operational test programs.
  • Extensive knowledge in the analysis field and ability to communicate effectively across organizations.
  • Exceptional technical writing and Government reporting/documentation skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Missile Defense System components.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with DoD test processes and/or test execution.
  • Strong knowledge of the Compunetix Mission Voice Platform Switch and its peripheral devices.
  • Knowledge of Telecommunications and Network Management principles and system interoperability.
  • Familiarity with MDA's structure, policies, and procedures.
