As an advanced technologies engineer intern, you will assist the advanced technologies group (design, industrial, electrical, controls, etc.) with multiple tasks involving the systems engineering functions. You may have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a fully autonomous robot using a JLG machine, investigate novel aspects of autonomy such as motion planning, navigation, and perception, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to define stakeholder needs. Additionally, you will support the development of requirements, design, and verification within team projects, generate engineering calculations to support trade-off analysis and simulations, assist in the development of system prototypes to validate requirements, perform or assist in the testing of complete machines or vehicle sub-systems, and design, model and test new systems that integrate with a machine.
