About The Position

The Advanced Technical Analyst position at Albertsons Companies focuses on the configuration, report development, and support of the Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) within Supply Chain applications. This role acts as a bridge between the Distribution Operations team and the IT team, requiring hands-on experience with Manhattan Active WMS and SCI. The analyst will work closely with plant users to understand their needs and ensure that the systems are effectively supporting business operations.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience with WMS Technologies (Manhattan WMS) with at least one complete life-cycle implementation experience.
• Testing experience with Manhattan Active WMS.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Manufacturing, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong experience working in the Microsoft Office suite of products such as Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision under rigid time constraints.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with businesses to understand and document requirements, determine design and approach, configure, and test various applications to deliver and support business needs.
• Conduct ongoing analysis of the supply chain process to identify opportunities for process and system improvements, efficiency gains.
• Document requirements, process flows, and new functionality.
• Plan, track, escalate, and deliver upon tasks and timelines assigned.
• Review system design approaches to ensure they fully meet the business requirements.
• Produce key documents, both in written and presentation formats.
• Monitor process and technology and provide insights into overall status.
• Analyze and develop solutions addressing customer needs.
• Interface WMS technologies and applications to back office systems.
• Write use cases, business rules, and other artifacts such as swim lane diagrams and activity flow diagrams.
