Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or similar technical field
  • Due to export controls and ITAR products, candidate must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • 4+ years' experience in a related field

Responsibilities

  • Perform numeric evaluation of product design, integration, and qualification activities for new inertial navigation products for internal R&D and customer funded programs
  • Evaluate sensor & system performance - ex: reading and understanding Root Alan Variance (RAV)
  • Lead trade studies and issue resolution (e.g. FMEA, RCCA) activities
  • Prepare, review, approve, and present technical documentation and deliverables to internal and external customers
  • Function as a technical focal with internal customers supporting new product development and communicating technical status
  • Execute in a cross-functional team setting (interfacing with mechanical, electrical, software, test, etc.)
  • Support system design team meetings (SRR, PDR, TRR, CDR, FCA/PCA, TIMs) with internal and external customers
  • Perform customer flow-down requirement analysis, feasibility assessment, technical solution development
  • Create system documents development, including but not limited to system-level requirements, Interface Control Document, Hardware Requirements Specification, Performance Verification Test Plan Procedure, Certification documents
