About The Position

As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer- IFS Bombardier Applications here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of systems engineers in designing, developing, and delivering advanced systems. You will shape technological advancements and manage project portfolios. You will report directly to our Senior Systems Engineer Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. You will Technically lead, develop, and motivate engineering teams responsible for the System Design and development of IFS Systems Applications for Bombardier and PC24 programs. You will be responsible for defining, executing the technical content by working with systems engineering team and customers. You will participate in all phases of program development and drive high impact growth projects. Responsibilities JOB EXPECTATIONS: Requirements analysis, authoring various systems artifacts, participate in Systems development activities and analysis for aircraft sub-systems. Systems validation & verification – Prepare detailed test plans, provide test coverage, execution on target bench and report test results. Model based system design and development using MLBT and development with SCADE/MLBT. Understanding and working experience on Avionics Systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Sciences or Electronic Engineering Technology.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience working various application areas.
  • Expertise working with Aerospace standards and familiarity with DO178B/C.
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Sciences
  • Experience working in systems definition, requirements capture, systems test procedures and reviews.
  • Proven Systems engineering expertise demonstrated on programs.
  • Able to identify and manage risks and opportunities with demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects
  • Good communicator of vision, ideas and work requirement.
  • Should have demonstrated transformational results (Innovation, Productivity, Technology) through cross collaboration.
