Honeywell Flight Management System (FMS) Datalink Solutions are advanced Avionics Communication solutions designed to enhance real-time data exchange between aircraft and ground operations. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, ideally preferably in the avionics, aerospace, communications or related disciplines.
• Proficiency in systems lifecycle methodologies, requirements management, and adherence to industry standards.
• Proficiency in system-level analysis and optimization.
• Familiarity with system integration.
• Experience in related systems is of value i.e Flight Management Systems (FMS), Avionics systems, Communication systems, satellite-based communication technologies, etc.
• Experience with DOORS or similar Requirements Management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced Avionics solutions, specifically for Flight Management System (FMS) and Datalink Communication offerings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams consisting of Systems, Software, Hardware and Test to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Author high-level systems requirements in DOORS.
• Conduct system-level analysis and optimization.
• Perform systems integration, validation, & verification.
• Model-based systems design and development.
• Work closely with stakeholders to capture and manage system requirements.
• Ensure system specifications meet the broad array of requirements including safety, performance, and compliance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
