About The Position

Mobile Communications America (MCA), your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Advanced Security Technician to support our growing Security Division in a dynamic airport environment located in Broward County, Florida. This role is part of a 12-month project with the potential for annual renewal based on customer needs and performance. You’ll be the go-to expert for installing and servicing enterprise-level access control and video surveillance systems.

Requirements

5–10 years of experience with enterprise-level physical security systems
Skilled in installing, configuring, and maintaining Access Control systems.
Basic networking knowledge to support system integration and troubleshooting.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve across multiple systems and platforms.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Experience managing subcontractor performance and ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
Must pass TSA background screening and be eligible to obtain a Florida security technician license prior to start.

Responsibilities

Install and service physical security systems, including IP video and access control systems with electrified locking hardware.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently.
Serve as the primary on-site customer interface.
Oversee subcontractors and coordinate with other trades.
Mentor junior technicians and ensure quality standards are met.
