Provide patient care for the adult outpatient Oncology service, a multi-specialty service, the ARNP performs direct patient care, including diagnostic and therapeutic services. Within the APP/Physician relationship, the ARNP will exercise autonomy in medical decision making and services provided. Plan, deliver, and evaluate the health care required by the patient, consistent with accreditation guidelines. In addition to the ability to exercise autonomy and function independently, the individual needs to be able to work under the direction of the attending physician. Patient care responsibilities will include working weekday clinic hours. This position is part of a dynamic and fast paced environment. We utilize a multidisciplinary approach to patient care that encourages team work between multiple disciplinary team to provide the most comprehensive care to our patients.
