With your keen eye for the detail, the Advanced Quality Specialist compares defects against standards and recommends disposition. We’ll rely on you to review and disposition QA documentation (IDRs, DNs) and verify corrective action implementation. You’ll also participate and assist in performing audits. Maintain an accurate inventory and database of all CIs, including their relationships, status, and life-cycle. Ensure that all configuration practices adhere to industry standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. Track and manage versions of software code and other components to ensure consistency and prevent errors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, or NASA std’s certification may be required within 30 days of hire.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Experience with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) policies and procedures
  • Experience in Logistics, conducting supplier audits, performing Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA)
  • Document and Configuration control experience using Windchill
  • Knowledge of AS9100 requirements and processes
