Requirements

• Current national certification as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
• DEA and ACLS certification required.
• Previous hospitalist experience preferred.
• Current NY state license is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a Level III Trauma Center or Comprehensive Stroke Center.
• Familiarity with a variety of medical services including surgery, ICU, pediatrics, and cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care as part of the hospital medicine team.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Participate in patient assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
• Maintain current national certification, DEA, and ACLS as required for the role.
