About The Position
As an Advanced Provider in the Emergency Department at Vituity, you will play a critical role in our mission to improve lives and will be a valued member of the full care team. Vituity operates at 475 sites across the country, serving approximately 9 million patients annually. This position offers the flexibility to take your job with you if you need to relocate. We are currently seeking Emergency Department and Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Candidates must have experience in either an Emergency Department or Urgent Care Clinic, along with current national certification, DEA, and ACLS. A current California state license is a plus. The practice is located at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center that provides the largest array of healthcare services in San Diego's South Bay. It is one of the busiest emergency rooms in San Diego County, utilizing an express triage system known as Rapid Medical Evaluation (RME) to efficiently identify and treat emergencies, aiming to reduce wait times to 40 minutes or less, with a goal of 30 minutes or less. The facility boasts high patient satisfaction scores and a commitment to quality care.
