About The Position

Our expanding practice is looking for an additional full-time Advanced Practitioner to assist our Physicians in our musculoskeletal and spine outpatient practice. This position is open to both NP's and PA's. Experience in PM&R and/or pain management is a plus. The addition of a full-time fellowship-trained interventional spine physiatrist to our existing musculoskeletal service line will help facilitate current volumes to ensure appropriate access while growing its outpatient musculoskeletal and spine management team into competing markets via multiple locations. Practice information: EPIC EMR Outpatient practice Three office locations – possibly adding a fourth. Our team currently consists of three Physicians and four Advanced Practitioners. Virginia and Tennessee licensure. Primary location will be Big Stone Gap, Virginia, with possible rotations in Kingsport and Rogersville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining history and chief complaint
• Perform physical exams.
• Order and interpret appropriate labs, x-rays, or other diagnostic tests.
• Formulate diagnosis.
• Initiate treatment plans
• Provide patient education.
