About The Position

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is an international, ISO 9001/20000/27001 Certified, CMMI Level 3 Rated full-service provider with more than 37 years’ experience in the Federal, Military, and Commercial Marketplaces. SRI is seeking a committed and passionate professional to provide critical services to the U.S. Coast Guard medical readiness. Overview: The Advanced Practitioner will support U.S. Coast Guard medical readiness by conducting comprehensive medical record reviews, waiver adjudications, and assessments in alignment with USCG and DoD standards. This role requires seasoned clinical expertise, familiarity with commissioning, retention, and separation physical requirements, and hands-on experience with key EMR systems including Cerner, MHS GENESIS, and JLV.

Requirements

A Doctorate or Master’s Degree in a medical field, such as Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or equivalent, from an accredited program.
A current, unrestricted medical license in at least one (1) U.S. state relevant to the qualifying career path.
Board certification PA or NP.
Current credential or prior medical provider within the USCG healthcare network.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in medical record review, medical waiver adjudication, or military medical assessments.
Familiarity with USCG and DoD medical policies, HIPAA compliance standards, and medical standard requirements for: Approved USCG commissioning physicals Retention physicals (PHA’s) Separation exams
Minimum of One (1) year experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, including: Cerner EMR, the primary USCG system for maintaining electronic healthcare treatment records. MHS GENESIS (MHSG), the electronic health record system used across the Military Health System. Joint Longitudinal Viewer (JLV), which provides access to integrated health histories across DoD, VA, and private sector partners.
