Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - ICU-UTower
About The Position
The University of Miami, Uhealth has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the MICU/SICU department at the UTower location.The "APRN" is responsible for the direct and indirect care of his/her assigned patients, and the supervision of assigned personnel. He/she will also report to the medical director and nursing director. The position requires the ability to assess patient's condition, formulate a plan of care, and evaluate a patient's response to care and treatment. Responsible for the continuous development and ongoing clinical management of the patients in UHealth system. This will be accomplished while carrying out the Mission, Goals and Objectives of University of Miami Hospital, while focusing on the patients, physicians and the employees as customers. This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Valid State of Florida APRN License
- Acute Care Certification
- Minimum (3)years of critical care experience as Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNPC-AG) and greater.
