Requirements
- Current State of Florida Licensure as APRN or PA required, with dispensing authority.
- Prior experience in women’s health, reproductive health, or family planning strongly preferred.
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems preferred.
- Must possess excellent decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to reproductive health and rights.
- BLS certification required.
- Comfort in discussing sensitive topics related to sexuality, pregnancy, and contraception.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality reproductive and sexual healthcare, including physical exams, patient counseling, contraception management, STI testing/treatment, and abortion-related services.
- Conduct medical assessments including breast and pelvic exams, Pap smears, and other screenings aligned with PPFL protocols.
- Ensure thorough documentation, compliance with medical standards, and support clinic productivity and flow.
- Collaborate with health center leadership and staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.
- Educate patients on reproductive and sexual health topics, including GAHT, pregnancy options, sterilization post-care, and behavioral/primary health services.
- Refer patients for care beyond the clinician’s scope as needed and manage follow-up procedures.
- Participate in staff training and contribute to quality assurance efforts.
- May perform specialized services such as ultrasound, colposcopy, centralized follow-up, or on-call support, if appropriately credentialed and privileged.
