About The Position

Responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for the perioperative patient in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status). Perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members. This position reports to the supervisory medical director of the collaborating physician's office and then to the Regional Clinical Director.

Requirements

• Advanced Practice Professional Degree in Medicine/Osteopathy/Nursing or Physician Assistant Professional Degree
• Florida medical license, DEA license
• Minimum 3 years' experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in providing exceptional patient care and service
• Perform patient exams, history & physicals
• Maintain updated patient records
• Order and analyze test results, consult with provider to create treatment plans
• Administer treatments as directed by physician
• Complete orders and charges efficiently
• Serve as a trusted resource for patients, offering guidance on their ongoing care, counseling, and critical conditions
