About The Position
Join our renowned Head & Neck Team as an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) and make a lasting impact on the lives of our patients! In this dynamic role, you’ll play a crucial role in our Head & Neck surgical cases, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver expert, compassionate care in the peri-operative setting. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited PA Program
- NCCPA certification
- Active New York State license or be qualified for state licensure
- ACLS/BLS certification
- previous or current OR experience preferred
- Or Current New York State RN and NP license/registration
- Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges
- RNFA Certification
- Related National NP certification
- ACLS/BLS certification
- previous or current OR experience preferred
- A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward
- Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex information
- Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
- Effective at gaining the support and commitment of others by engaging them around your point of view and priorities
- Flexible in your approach and demeanor in order to align with the shifting demands of evolving circumstances
- Work collaboratively with other APPs, nurses and physicians, including fellows and residents
- Flexible with scheduling and will adapt to the needs of the service
