SUMMARY: Reports to the Clinical Director of the Nurse Practitioner Service. Under the general supervision of the Lead Nurse Practitioner II, and the Attending Physician of Record, the nurse practitioner is responsible for the development and evaluation of treatment plans for inpatients. The Nurse Practitioner assists in the care and management of cardiac patients to include, but not limited to: admission history and physical, ongoing assessment and intervention, and coordination of care for the cardiac inpatient population. All essential functions performed in this position reflect the age specific needs of the patient.
