About The Position

EVMS Medical Group at Old Dominion University is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pediatric Otolaryngology team. In partnership with faculty, residents, and nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, coordinated care to children with ENT disorders across Children's Hospital of The Kings Daughters outpatient locations. What You'll Do Provide outpatient evaluation and management for pediatric ENT patients Deliver continuity care, consultations, and follow-up services Educate families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and pre/post-operative care Assist faculty with in-office procedures Collaborate with nursing staff to triage calls and coordinate care Support scheduling, referrals, and seamless transitions to outside providers Participate in the development of clinical pathways and care protocols Promote consistent, high-quality, cost-effective patient care What Were Looking For NP: MSN with NP focus; licensed RN and certified NP in Virginia PA: Licensed Physician Assistant in Virginia Pediatric or Otolaryngology experience preferred but not required Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Ability to manage time effectively, adapt to change, and exercise sound clinical judgment Why Join EVMS? Requirements

  • NP: MSN with NP focus; licensed RN and certified NP in Virginia
  • PA: Licensed Physician Assistant in Virginia
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage time effectively, adapt to change, and exercise sound clinical judgment

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric or Otolaryngology experience preferred but not required
