Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our dedicated team at MSK as an Advanced Practice Provider, collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members. Role Overview: You'll provide comprehensive care to pre-surgical testing patients, conduct history and physical assessments, and work closely with surgical, anesthesia, and medical staff to optimize patients for the Operating Room. Requirements

  • Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
  • Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • Related National NP certification
  • BLS/ ACLS certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in cardiac, ICU, or oncology surgery
  • OR
  • Graduate from an accredited PA program, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in cardiac, ICU, or oncology surgery
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • Known for making timely decisions that keep the organization progressing.
  • Able to navigate complex, sometimes contradictory information effectively.
  • Skilled at gaining support and dedication by engaging others around your priorities.
  • Adaptable in approach and demeanor to align with evolving circumstances.
  • Capable of anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple collaborators.
  • Inventive in securing and deploying resources efficiently.
  • An effective and clear communicator.
  • Comfortable and relatable with diverse groups of people
