About The Position

Treats and evaluates patients; administers patient care in a particular clinical specialty area, under the direction of the licensed physician. Knowledgeable about patient care diagnosis and treatment, current methods and techniques of practice. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities in accordance with scope of practice and licensure guidelines and in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree - Required
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or completed a nurse practitioner program - Required
• PA Medical Physician Asst License or Active PA RN License and CRNP license - Required
• Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Required

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Preferred
• Previous Hematology Experience is Highly Desired
• Conducting comprehensive patient history taking, physical examinations, and reviewing laboratory data to diagnose hematological conditions like anemia, bleeding disorders, blood cancers (leukemia, lymphoma), and myeloproliferative disorders along with working with chemotherapy treatments experience strongly preferred.
